Timed to coincide with International Womens Day, YouTube ran an interesting campaign recently. The #DearMe tag was created to encourage you to speak to yourself – your younger self.
The idea is that users upload a video letter to YouTube, addressed to themselves in history – i.e. if you had a time machine, you’d be able to go back in time and receive advice from yourself. Clever (and don’t you wish you could really do it?).
Launched on 3rd March 2015, the campaign has seen a high degree of take up and has seen some very interesting advice passed back to yourself (sounds odd, doesn’t it?).
