Twitter Museum Week is running for the second consecutive year and interest in the UK is beginning to build.
The event takes place from the 23rd to 29th March and any museum, gallery or collection can take part. It is an entirely free to join promotional event.
Twitter says that 200 UK locations have already joined up, making it the highest participating country to date (there are over 1,000 global participants so far).
Organisations of the stature of The British Museum and the Imperial War Museum are already signed up and Twitter are keen to replicate the success of the 2014 event.
Last year more than 600 organisations took part and the event generated over 260,000 tweets.
You can find full details of the event on the Twitter blog article here.
